These terms apply to visiting companies, producers, promoters and individuals submitting productions and tickets for sale through the 53two ticketing platform.
By submitting tickets for sale, you acknowledge and agree to the following conditions.
1.1 You are responsible for setting the ticket prices for your production. 1.2 You are entitled to 100% of the ticket face value you set and actually sell, after any applicable discounts and ticket refunds. 1.3 53two does not deduct booking fees, platform fees, Stripe transaction fees, charitable donations or booking protection charges from your ticket income. 1.4 Your ticket income is calculated using the actual ticket prices paid by customers, after any discounts or promotional codes applied. 1.5 Any separately agreed venue hire charges or revenue-sharing arrangements remain subject to your individual agreement with 53two. These are separate from ticketing-platform charges.
2.1 53two may charge ticket purchasers an additional booking or platform fee for the administration and operation of the ticketing service. 2.2 These fees are paid by the ticket purchaser and are separate from the ticket price you have set. 2.3 Booking and platform fees belong to 53two and are not included in your ticket income. 2.4 These fees are not deducted from your ticket sales revenue.
For example, if you set a ticket price of £10 and the customer pays an additional booking fee, the full £10 remains ticket income attributable to your production.
3.1 The ticketing platform uses Stripe to process customer payments. 3.2 Where applicable and lawfully charged, customers may pay a separately identified transaction fee associated with the ticketing service. 3.3 Any such fee is separate from the ticket price you have set and does not form part of your ticket income. 3.4 Stripe and customer transaction fees are accounted for separately and are not deducted from your agreed ticket face value. 3.5 The amount a customer pays in total may therefore be greater than the value of the admission tickets purchased.
4.1 Customers may be invited to make a voluntary donation to 53two when purchasing tickets. 4.2 These donations are made specifically to support 53two's charitable purposes. 4.3 All donations made to 53two belong to the charity and are not included in your production's ticket income. 4.4 Donations are not deducted from your ticket sales. They are additional payments made voluntarily by customers.
5.1 Customers may choose to purchase optional booking protection. 5.2 Booking protection is a separate customer payment and is not part of the ticket price you set. 5.3 Booking protection fees are not included in your ticket income and are not deducted from your ticket sales. 5.4 If a customer receives a refund of their ticket price under the applicable booking protection policy, the refunded ticket amount will no longer count as earned ticket revenue. 5.5 Existing event-specific booking protection prices and arrangements remain unchanged.
6.1 You may choose to offer discounted tickets, concession prices or promotional codes for your production. 6.2 Where a discount is applied, your ticket income is calculated using the actual discounted ticket price paid by the customer. 6.3 For example, if you set a ticket price of £15 and authorise a £5 discount, the resulting ticket income is £10. 6.4 Discounts and promotional codes authorised by you reduce your ticket income by the value of the discount applied. 6.5 53two will not introduce additional discounts affecting your ticket income without the necessary agreement or authorisation.
7.1 Any guest tickets, complimentary admissions or free tickets you allocate have no ticket sale value. 7.2 These tickets will not generate ticket income. 7.3 Guest and complimentary tickets may be recorded for capacity and attendance purposes but are excluded from paid ticket revenue calculations. 7.4 Any separately agreed complimentary ticket arrangements with 53two remain subject to the relevant production agreement.
8.1 Where a ticket is refunded, the refunded ticket price will be excluded from your earned ticket revenue. 8.2 Refunds may arise through booking protection, event cancellation, applicable consumer rights or other authorised refund arrangements. 8.3 Only the ticket-price portion of a refund will reduce your ticket revenue. Refunds of separately collected customer charges will be accounted for separately. 8.4 Any refunds processed after a financial settlement has been prepared may require an appropriate adjustment.
9.1 53two will provide financial reporting showing ticket sales and any applicable discounts, refunds and additional customer payments. 9.2 Reports may show the total amount collected from customers, including booking fees, transaction fees, booking protection and charitable donations. 9.3 The total amount collected from customers is not the same as ticket sales revenue. 9.4 Your ticket revenue is calculated from the actual ticket prices paid, excluding any complimentary tickets and accounting for applicable discounts and refunds. 9.5 Customer-paid booking fees, transaction fees, booking protection and donations are shown separately for reconciliation purposes. They are not deductions from your ticket revenue. 9.6 Any separately agreed venue charges or revenue-sharing arrangements will be applied in accordance with your individual agreement with 53two. 9.7 You may request clarification of your financial settlement if any figures are unclear.
By submitting a production or tickets for sale through the 53two ticketing platform, you acknowledge that:
By accepting these terms, you confirm that you understand the distinction between ticket sales revenue and the total amount paid by ticket purchasers.
